A crowd of over 200 polka friends gathered at the Polish Hall corral for this special event. Dressed in the finest western wear and western gear, the crowd mustered early to get the best seats next to the dance floor. A group of 30 from the Mascoutah IL area were guided by Brad and Mary Schmidt to the event. The Danny Krausz band and Polka Connection provided the entertainment. Ed and Elaine Knight, members who joined the Polka Club after attending our Thanksgiving weekend festival, get the award for traveling the farthest - it took them 4 hours to drive from Martin TN. Special thanks for all those that attended who heard about our event through Folk Fire - St. Louis' Dance and Music publication.
